Life has been a great teacher. In an effort to learn more about my own patterns and ways of being that were keeping me stuck and causing pain in my life, I have spent the last several years deeply immersed in studying and learning.
I have discovered many tools and modalities that have guided me through some of my darkest days. There is so much suffering and pain in our world and my desire is to share light and hope and guidance that may lead to more peace and understanding.
During the last several months, my life changed profoundly- leading to some of my most excruciatingly difficult days, yet in this place of pain, I found something that has changed my life. I spent hours in solitude and found a sense of home within. No longer looking to others to approve of my choices, to fill my needs, or to offer me love, I instead found a deep well of love and belonging and safety within.
If you find yourself repeating patterns in your life or numbing or distracting-spending hours mindlessly scrolling social media, watching tv, exercising excessively, comforting with food, drinking excessively, finding yourself in unhealthy relationships, or feeling overwhelmed or unsatisfied with your life- know there is another way.
I graduated from SUU with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition in 2015 and completed a 200-hour trauma informed yoga teacher training with Sariah Bastian at Back Pocket Yoga in March of 2020. I did an additional year of training under her to coach for her Beyond Breath program targeted for women who have experienced infidelity. Under the guidance of Melody Ross in 2023, I became a certified Art Healing Teacher. In February 2024, I traveled to Costa Rica to train under Carole Friesen to become a Level 3 Psychosomatic Practitioner. Later in 2024, I trained under Christy Carter and obtained my Intuitive Coaching and Healing Certification. In March 2025, I received my Usui Reiki 1 certification from Carrie Alford and Kendyl Beschen. I am currently enrolled in a Restorative and Yin Yoga Certification course and a holotropic breathwork course and actively stay engaged in learning in many ways to deepen and expand my knowledge.
My formal training, along with years of life experiences, have led me to a place where I am ready to offer health and wellness to you in incredible ways, with your specific needs in mind. Utilizing psychosomatic therapy, yoga, breathwork, art, and meditation as tools to see yourself more clearly and begin to shift your story so that you too will have the opportunity to find home within.
